“Nature is divine. Nature can still heal itself.”

Nature is connected to our life since ancient times. Human life is interconnected with Nature for thousands of years. Five thousand years ago, the Vedas, earth’s first script showed and worshipped the natural world and ecology. The Vedic people knew very well the importance of the environment, they knew clearly how to handle natural resources. The Vedic religion or the Vedic people adore great respect for all life forms like the forest, trees, rivers, lakes, animals, birds, mountains. Their life was intermingled with Nature and natural aspects. As well as the elements or the PANCHABHUTA as the Vedas describe them are the fundamental factors of the universe. These five elements air, water, fire, space are the essence of the entire world. These essential five elements connected with Nature as well as human beings. More importantly, balancing these five elements in the right way is the key to a happy and healthy life. Everything in Nature is made up of five basic elements earth, water, fire, air, and space. It is a Law of Nature. Today what we are facing the environmental hazards are the result of an imbalance in the ecosystem or imbalance in PANCHABHUTA. Every five elements have a relationship with the other elements. According to the UN leaders at WHO and WWF international pandemics such as coronavirus are the result of humanity’s destruction of Nature.

HOW WE ARE DESTROYING FIVE ELEMENTS IN NATURE?.

The global economy has expanded multiple times. 19th and 20th century is the economic growth as well as a significant cost to Nature. It is estimated that 7 million species at risk of extinction due to human activity. The world economic forum’s “Global risks report 2020” ranked biodiversity loss as one of the top five risks in terms of impact and likelihood over the coming decade. We have been polluting all the water bodies due to toxic water diseases like diarrhea, cholera, typhoid, and killing people.” The human activity made water pollutants include bacteria, viruses, parasites, fertilizers, pharmaceuticals, nitrates, plastic, etc. The gases coming from vehicles, truck exhaust, factories, dust, volcanoes, and wildfires polluting the quality of air. The solid and liquid particles suspended in the air just because of human activity. The loss of the ecosystem is caused mainly by changes in land and sea use. Dumping waste into the ocean becomes the earth becomes poisonous. The changes have contributed to the earth having less than 70% of the forest cover it had prior to the industrial revolution. On the off chance that people twofold environmental carbon dioxide (CO2) from preindustrial levels, the planet will ultimately warm somewhere in the range of 1.5°C and 4.5°C—a temperature range that envelops everything from a just upsetting ascent to a calamitous one.

The earth is getting warmer due to climate change and global warming. Because of global warming, polar bears are going to be extinct in 100 years. Reducing the natural world to resources for human consumption leads to the destruction of our beautiful home. Instead of being connected with Nature and its five elements, we go against it. Therefore the environmental hazards had taken place globally.

NATURE CAN REPAIR ITSELF.!

Vedic people worshipped the divine Nature, they believed in every natural concept. Offcourse Vedic views revolve around the concept of Nature and its life. They adored all the forces of Nature. They understood naturally activity, development, creation, change, and annihilation in nature, are the consequence of powers outside men’s ability to control. Hence those times the balance in ecology was extremely good. The divine nature can heal itself. During the lockdown in almost all the countries, the temporary shutdown of all industries, factories, human activities has resulted in drastic improvement in air quality across the world. Both carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide emissions were observed to have fallen by around 50% to 10%.

Punjab people have the first time in 30 years been able to see the views of the Himalayas from their rooftops. The Himalayas ‘ views were not visible earlier because of excessive pollution. Nature has the very powerful capacity to repair itself. The surface of the holy river Ganga cleaned, none of the factory waste had released. The water quality of around 27% was suitable for bathing and propagation of the wildlife and marine life. It was a great moment all the birds and animals were spotted on the roads. Marine life has also been thriving because of reduced water pollution. Mother Nature is taking action to purify herself and other children.

LAST WORDS.

The five elements of divine nature found in material creation are the essences of the whole world. We humans should be in positive touch with it. . This is as true as the sun, nature is healing itself, no matter how long it may take. The effect can be as hard as a diamond. Human activities have destroyed all aspects of nature so it is purifying itself by throwing dirt on air, water, space, and earth. And that will continue until it is clean. If the destruction of nature goes on, then it is no doubt the destruction of man. We cannot win the lawless struggle with nature.

“The best way to reduce global warming is to plant more trees.”

The year 2020 is set to be among the three warmest on record according to the latest state of the global climate provisional report by the World Meteorological organization on Dec. 1, 2020. Climate change continued its relentless march in 2020, which is on track to be one of the three warmest years on record. 2011-2020 will be the warmest decade on record, with the warmest six years all being since 2015, according to the World Meteorological Organization. Scientists agree that global warming is caused mainly by human activity. Specifically, the evidence shows that certain heat-trapping gases, such as carbon dioxide, are warming the world—and that we release those gases when we burn fossil fuels like coal, oil, and gas. Since 1880 the earth’s average surface temperature has risen by 0.07 c ( 0.13 F) every decade. Therefore as a result of heavy heat at home, office surrounding environment, it’s impossible to survive without the table fan, ceiling fan, air conditioner. Our day-to-day life is completely dependent upon all these man-made machines. It may have both advantages and disadvantages but man-made machines don’t replace the natural air conditioner. It’s true, trees are like nature’s air conditioner. Planting and preserving forests in the tropics are more likely to slow down global warming. Forest absorb the greenhouse gas carbon- dioxide from the atmosphere and helps keep the planet cool. Forest evaporates water into the atmosphere and increases cloudiness. So, which helps us to keep cool without an air conditioner.

How trees or forests cool our cities and surroundings?.

1.Trees give shades.

Nothing is comparable with this beautiful and valuable forest. Generally, trees can help provide cooling by providing shade and through a process known as evapotranspiration. Trees provide most of their cooling effect by shading. Trees can also cool down the concrete buildings. They provide shade to prevent solar radiation from penetrating windows or heating up external walls. In this increasing global warming condition, we need to plant more and more trees and forests to get shade from trees to cool down the terraced houses, apartment blocks where people live.

2.Trees beat the heat.

Evapotranspiration occurs when the sun’s rays hit the tree’s canopy causing water to evaporate from leaves. So, this cools them down. Trees cool the cities through the process of transpiration in which water is absorbed through the roots and pushed into the air tiny pores in leaves. Because trees can transpire significant volumes of water; a mature tree can transpire up to 150 liters per day. Trees also cool the air by a process known as ‘transpiration cooling‘. As trees release water into the atmosphere from their leaves via transpiration, the surrounding air is cooled as water goes from liquid to vapor. The process is similar to evaporation pads used to cool greenhouses — except in trees, water moves into the tree’s roots from the soil and travels through the tree’s water-conducting system, eventually being transpired from the leaves.

3.Trees can reduce the temperature.

Plants and trees not only improve the air quality but also lower greenhouse gas emissions and reduce the temperature of their surrounding environment day and night. Forest or trees cool the soil directly by minimizing moisture loss from the surface. More and more plants will protect the soil surface from the sun’s heat and reduce moisture loss.

4.Trees can function as a natural recycling machine.

When the leaf falls down from the surface of the tree takes in moisture from the air and heat from the sun to make food. This process is called “photosynthesis“. So, this improved air quality around the home, apartment, concrete buildings acts as a natural air conditioner.

Is the air conditioner good for health?

People have been using the air conditioners for so many years, it’s an integral part of our modern comfortable life. It is said that to make the environment even hotter due to its contribution to global warming by releasing poisonous gases into the environment, these gases include chlorofluorocarbons and hydrochlorofluorocarbons both gases negative impact on the environment. It consumes so much electricity and therefore releases pollution, when fossil fuel is burned, carbon dioxide is released into the air. One of the studies states that due to the use of air conditioners worsening asthma problems, allergies are two health issues that can stem from contaminated AC units. Continuous exposer to AC can trigger a headache in people, dehydration, dry eyes, respiratory problems, dry skin, and other hazards.

LAST WORDS.

From the very beginning, humans had a mutual relationship with the natural world. We have been facing a lot of environmental hazardous problems but on the other hand, we have a solution itself in this beautiful Nature. God nourishes us with his loving presence is through the beauty of nature. The rise of technology and science may have distanced us superficiality from nature, it not changed our reliance on the natural world. What we are today facing the problems these are all the outcomes of man’s stay away from nature. The natural world regulates the earth’s climate, ecosystem, biodiversity. Before the new advanced air conditioner system comes to market we need to conserve the trees and forest in order to survive all animal beings. Changes in global temperatures may cause different problems, every problem has a solution. If we cover more and more trees we can get away with all these natural problems like global warming. Let’s move on to Nature.

“The world Sparrow Day.”- No selfie with the sparrow, Only candied memory.- World sparrow Day 2023.

If we remember our childhood memorable days, our hearts filled and danced with the memory of beautiful Sparrows. We were grown-up by seeing the little sparrows in villages. How beautiful, friendly, lovely they are!. Almost all the houses were a shelter to the nest of sparrows as well as a bus station, railway station, shrubs. During those innocent childhood days, it was a great pleasure and passion to watch those sparrows. when we woke up early in the morning, there itself a deep emotional connection between the sparrows with us. That was a time, we didn’t know YouTubes and we didn’t carry mobile phones. So sad, no photographs with our hearts touching sparrows. No selfies with our beloved sparrows We would have taken colorful photographs if we had a mobile camera in our childhood days. Unfortunately, now we have wonderful mobile cameras but no house sparrows, those are completely disappearing from our houses, surrounding environments, bus stops, and railway stations. World sparrow day is celebrating on 20 March every year in many countries around the world. This year the world sparrow day is celebrating with the theme” I love sparrows”.

Must watch it:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cq0R7N5yb8A

Sparrows are the early mates.

There is a long connection between sparrows with human civilization. It is said that the ancient Roman introduced the house sparrow to Europe from North America and Eurasia. Therefore there itself the human migration took the birds to other parts of the world. Sparrows were the social bird living side by side around human beings. The adorable sparrows chirping and flitting around in our courtyards. Sparrows emotionally connected with us ever since humans started depending on agriculture. In fact, so many birds are mentioned in our mythologies and folklores among, them sparrows also.

Sparrows are no longer.

It is very difficult to see our beloved sparrows. Nesting places are not for them. There are a lot of reasons, such as building, cutting down trees, and so on. The beautiful birds are almost extinct. Human activities and urbanization are responsible for the disappearance of beautiful sparrows.

we need sparrows.

Sparrows mostly prefer seeds, millets, grass, weed, sunflower seeds. They also eat fruits and berries, during this process sparrows spread seeds to places away. This would cause the growth of plants and hence sparrows are the producers in the ecosystem. Small insects are a big problem to agricultural plants but sparrows feed on small insects even and helpful to formers by playing the role of preserving the ecosystem. Little sparrows wanted to live in the company of man, they build a nest in the roof of a house. The sparrows were coming home as members. Difficult to believe how the modern lifestyle has completely changed. Of course, few scientists say due to mobile waves, the sparrows have disappeared from sight.

Last words.

There will always be a pleasure from birds. Birds are some of the best indicators of biological diversity in any given area because they are usually seen or heard in their environments, especially in urban areas. According to science, birds bring more happiness. We feel happier when we watch birds! The modern lifestyle is not pleasurable. All animals and birds have an important place in the diversity of life. In addition to the modern lifestyle and development, Nature, animals, birds need to be protected. There is no match for the melodious song of the birds, their beauty is literally incomparable with anything else. Love sparrows.

The contribution of birds to biodiversity is immense.

Birds are the most beautiful animal beings in Nature. We always feel happy to see the mesmerising birds surrounding us. Birds like peacock, parrot, dove, beautiful sparrows, and others always attract our hearts. Moreover, since the olden days, there is a strong relationship between birds and humans. It is the birds chirping everywhere that sounds musical and the whole Natural situation becomes mesmerising to our eyes and ears. Can you imagine a world without birds?. Birds play an essential role in the functioning of the ecosystem. Not only this, it the most beautiful nature of course birds inspires the artists, painters, poets, and nature-lovers.

WHY WE NEED BIRDS IN ECOSYSTEM?.

1. BIRDS INDICATE ENVIRONMENTAL HAZARDS.

Birds are so sensitive to habitat change, birds are so shrewd to the census in the environment. They always measure the health of the surrounding environment or environmental changes as soon as possible.  Scientists in Yanachaga National Park, Peru noticed behavioral changes in the birds and mammals at the park prior to an earthquake in 2011. Along with these during foraging birds perform the role through dispersing plant seeds. So these activities of birds increase the diversity of plants in particular areas. Expansion of forest is possible from birds. Birds are ecological pointer and it shows the amazing effect on both water and air pollution. Birds can be utilized as markers for the prairie, wetland, tropical jungle, and desert as well.

2.BIRDS POLLINATE PLANTS.

Most plant fruits are unable to develop without pollination taking place and many beautiful flower varieties would die out if not pollinated. Bees and insects are the most common pollinators, but bats and birds are known to do their share in this vital activity. We know bees and butterflies are the pollinators along with those some of the birds also play a big contribution in pollination. Birds are very important pollinators of wildflowers throughout the world. White-winged doves are important to saguaros as pollinators but they are also the main seed predators of saguaros. This is an interesting ecological balance. It is said that 5% of the plants humans use for food and medicines are pollinated by birds. In agriculture also birds beneficial through the regulation of pests. Birds decrease insect and increased the amount of salable crops.

3.BIRDS CLEAN THE NATURE.

Different bird species eat different insects, ticks, and other dead and injured tissues. Vultures reduce bacteria by ingesting corpses and thereby reducing diseases. Birds are also a driving force behind the conservation of forests, marshlands, meadows, and support humans who collect carbon while keeping the climate stable. Without birds, many ecosystems would not exist. This way the birds keep the environment clean.

4.BIRDS SPREAD THE SEEDS EVERYWHERE.

Birds depending on foods like fruits and other seeds. The seeds of certain plants, including the nuts of some enormous trees, fill in as a food hotspot for flying creatures. Birds may thump seeds from stems, cones, and blossom heads as they eat. While this may not spread the seeds a long way from the parent plants, it can carry the seeds into contact with the dirt, where they can overwinter and sprout into another age of plants. when they travel, they take the seeds they have eaten with them. Since they travel thousands of kilometers they bring plants back to nature. Birds are capable of stimulating and producing productivity, support the functioning of an ecosystem. Seabirds cycling nutrients and helping to fertilize marine ecosystems such as coral reefs. Their droppings contain nitrogen, phosphate, and potassium. These are essential for plant growth.

5.BIRDS PRESERVE THE EARTH.

Birds can help in the nutrient cycle. They move nutrients from one place to another. As a result islands with seabirds had plants that grow taller and faster. Birds are an intricate component of the ecosystem. Which we need for our survival. The Forest marine environment provides us food medicines and important raw materials. Birds keep the climate stable, oxygenated the air. So, birds play an important role in the effective functioning of these systems.

LAST WORDS.

Birds add color to our eyes, birds sound rhythms to our souls. Watching birds bring complete happiness into our daily lives. The connection of birds is not only prehistoric but today. Birds are beautiful environmental art. Unfortunately, there are many birds that are endangered for many reasons, and human activity is a big cause of worldwide bird populations. Rapid changes in temperature and weather. Birds chirping in the morning can positively affect our well-being. The pleasant chirping sound calms the mind. Unfortunately, we don’t hear the birds chirping in the morning. Moreover, birds are important for ecological balance. God has created billions of species, each species having its own purpose. The purpose of the birds is high. The birds need to be rescued. We need to make an emotional connection with beautiful birds. Our daily life would not be beautiful without the beautiful forests and animals and birds.

The scientist who discovered Ebola, warns that another Virus could hit the world.!

The world has witnessed the outbreak of Ebola before. It was a serious and deadly virus transmitted by animals and humans. It first came to know in 1976 in Sudan and the Democratic Republic of Lango. The virus was seen after the Ebola river. Scientists call it “filovirus”, it can cause hemorrhagic fever or profuse bleeding inside and outside the body. First, it was originated in African fruit bats and can transmit to other animals including humans. During that period the virus had infected people in African countries and became a global epidemic. More than 28.000 people were infected. Nearly 11.315 people’s death has reported due to this deadly virus. The world’s second-biggest Ebola outbreak is still raging. More importantly, we can not forget the obstacles we faced from Covid – 19 all across the world.

THE SCIENTIST WARNS ANOTHER DEADLY VIRUS, – “DISEASE – X

https://www.wionews.com/world/scientist-who-discovered-ebola-warns-of-deadlier-diseases-in-the-future-351761

Till today we are battling the Covid – 19 pandemic for over a year. The common people all across the world, still yet to receive the vaccines to covid – 19 pandemic disease. Again it’s very sad and unfortunate that it’s very shocking to hear. According to the Newspaper reports, the scientists who discovered the Ebola virus has warned that the world could be hit by another fatal disease soon. The disease termed as ” Disease ‘x’, it expected as fast-spreading as covid 19 and as deadly as Ebola virus. Professor Jean-Jacques Muyembe Tamfum, who helped discover Ebola in 1976 claims that an unknown number of viruses, many of which could be way more fatal than the ongoing COVID-19 could emerge across the world, starting from Africa’s tropical rainforests. According to the scientist who discovered the Ebola virus humanity must beware since more deadly diseases are likely to be discovered in the future. He further said that the Disease ‘x’ is hypothetical, but could be deadly and might lead to another pandemic all around the world. The important factor to be noticed here that more of the diseases spread from animals to humans. The scientist said that diseases such as yellow fever, influenza, rabies, and covid – 19 came from animals to humans. So, the future pandemic supposed to be worse than covid-19. The World Health Organisation has said “disease x”, ‘x’ stands for unexpected is hypothetical for now.

WHAT ARE THE REASONS OF EMERGING NEW INFECTIOUS DISEASES.?

https://lifelance.in/biodiversity-in-anxiety-animals/

In the past two decades, humans have faced many new viral infectious agents in emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases. Many factors contribute to the appearance of emerging new diseases The factors contributing to the cause of such viral infectious diseases.

1.HUMAN POPULATION AND BEHAVIOR.

Today crores of people traveling a greater distance than before. This allows the virus to spread more rapidly. Over the massive increase in global traveling has accelerated the potential spread of infectious disease is increasing. When the human population expands in number, the possibility that humans will come into close contact with animal species that are potential hosts of an infectious agent increases.

2.WEATHER AND CLIMATE CHANGE.

Change in weather and climate can allow some animals and birds carrying viruses to different areas, where they could spread diseases to people. Changing the climate patterns including global warming affect the spread of infectious diseases. Experts say that climate change could also cause an increase in desert dust storms in Asia and African countries. These storms put dust into the atmosphere that could spread microbes all around..

3.ENVIRONMENTAL FACTORS.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5327784/

Environment-related factors such as the depletion of the forest, expansion, modernization of agricultural practices, and natural disasters such as floods lead to changes in microbial. More exposure to chemicals and antimicrobial agents may lead to gene damage and the emergence of drug resistance pathogen variants that could ease the emergence of new diseases.

4.LOSS OF BIODIVERSITY.

If biodiversity loses, the chances of spreading infectious diseases from animals to humans. Biodiversity has a great influence on the magnitude and impact of epidemics. Scientist says “Biodiversity and Humans are interconnected”, man is a part of this ecosystem. Any human adverse action alters the ecological balance and affects human health itself.

LAST WORDS

Many diseases have come from animals. Experts say that this is due to the destruction of animal habitats and the trade of wildlife. We are destroying the whole biodiversity. Biodiversity is on the verge of extinction so these kinds of problems arise. If we protect nature as a whole, there is no doubt that nature protects us. It is the responsibility of governments to protect civilians requires precautionary measures. The corona took a little break from the whole world. But it is time to correct man’s mistakes.

Air quality has become worse, beware of it.

Air pollution is one of the largest health and environmental problems in the world today. As science and technologies are developed air pollution is rising day by day in many metropolitan cities of the world’s countries. As the development has taken place in most of the urban cities of the countries, air pollution level also reaching its extreme. The quality of air worsens the risk of stroke, heart diseases, lung cancer, respiratory diseases also increases. Research has shown that increasing air pollution is not the only impact on human health but also animal beings as well. Very sad, air pollution is affecting the living planet more.” World health organization”, reports that air pollution kills an estimated seven million people worldwide every year. Its data also shows that 9 out of 10 people breathe the pollutant air. Delhi the national capital of India has become the room of pollutant air.

MAIN CAUSES FOR AIR POLLUTION.

1.BURNING OF FOSSIL FUELS.

Power plants have producing sulfur dioxide from the combustion of fossil fuels like coal, petroleum for energy. Millions of vehicles vomit gasoline that burns far releasing energy, it is made up of hydrocarbons. Vehicles pollutants like carbon monoxide, organic compounds also cause pollutant air. Not only vehicles even airplanes are also polluting it. From all these vehicles harmful toxins are being released into the environment.

2.AGRICULTURAL ACTIVITIES.

https://lifelance.in/beautiful-sparrows-early-mates-of-human-beings-now-your-chirping-is-not-listening-relationship/

Farmers are using Ammonia for agriculture-related activities, it is a very hazardous gas. The use of insecticides, pesticides, fertilizers emits harmful chemicals into the air. Agricultural air pollution creates mainly in the form of ammonia (NH3), which enters the air as a gas from heavily fertilized fields and livestock waste. It blows in over cities, reacts with emissions of oxides of nitrogen (NOx) and sulfur (SO2). Using chemicals has reduced air quality. But whether promoting organic farming can reduce this problem. Also, the foods we eat will be chemical-free.

3.WASTE IN LANDFILLS.

It is a land where waste particles are buried. Horribly, it generates Methane, it is a major greenhouse gas that flammable and dangerous even. Landfills and dumps buried over often become suburban home sites in later years. Landfills have a distinctive effect on air pollution, nature, land, and humans. The soil in the area may be saturated with chemicals or hazardous substances.

4.FACTORIES AND INDUSTRIES.

It is well known that manufacturing industries release a large amount of carbon monoxide, hydrocarbons, organic compounds, and other chemicals into the air especially in urban areas. Petroleum refineries also release hydrocarbons and other chemicals into the air. The factories’ air pollutants are greenhouse gases from the burning of fossil fuels. Factories contribute to water and land pollution by acidifying rain, chemical spills, and disposal of toxic waste. Most of the industries and factories located in urban areas, that’s why the air pollution level is also at its peak in urban areas.

5.MINING.

In mining areas, the earth is extracted using large types of equipment, as a result, that dust, chemicals are releasing into the air. In this process a variety of metals absorbed and suspended in the air from the crushing of Mines. coal mines are mainly due to fugitive emissions of particulate matter and gases including methane, oxides of nitrogen,  Mining operations have generated a substantial quantity of airborne respirable dust, which has led to the development of respiratory diseases. Especially the people who are working in Mines.

6.BURNING OF GARBAGE AND ELECTRONIC WASTES.

In an open field burning the garbages is more harmful to the environment. Decaying these micro-organisms in the surrounding again releases methane gas, which is highly hazardous and may lead to death. Almost 80% of the EWaste generated from developed countries. Power generation emits greenhouse gases such as methane, nitrous acid, and carbon dioxide.

EFFECTS OF AIR POLLUTION ON HUMAN HEALTH AND ENVIRONMENT.https://lifelance.in/biodiversity-in-anxiety-animals/

Air pollution is everywhere. There is no doubt that today air pollution is a global problem. Globally 93% of children breathe pollutant air as a result of 600,000 children die every year. The pollutant air can go inside the lungs and bloodstream leads to a heart attack. The smoke coming from the vehicles irritates eyes and throat and it damages lungs even. Air pollution can affect the body’s immune, nervous, reproductive functions. It contributes to 9% of death globally as per the report. If we exposed to more pollutant air we may experience wheezing, coughing, chest tightness, breathing difficulties and so many.

Along with human health, air pollution also damages the environment, it increases in earth’s heat in the atmosphere. So, greenhouse gases lead to warmer temperatures, results in climate change. As a result of climate change rising sea level, more hot weather, infectious diseases will increase. Acid rains contain nitric and sulfuric acids may possible, it damages wildlife and forest as well. The pollutants like nitrogen oxide cause fish kills, loss of plants, and animal diversity. Due to this, animal beings face birth problems, reproductive problems, and diseases. One problem creates a lot of problems and these are interconnected.

LAST WORDS.

God has gifted us with beautiful Nature or environment for the betterment of human beings. Beautiful and clean air, water, forest, birds, mountains. Although Nature has gifted us with these precious things, we are either directly or indirectly destroying our surroundings. This is the most difficult situation we face. There is no better or healthier air in urban areas. It is regrettable that the situation of buying air in artificial oxygen centers. How the status of birds and animals may be! The rise of science and technology turned out to be fatal problems. But where there is a problem, there may be a solution. It is the responsibility of every government to find ways to prevent and reduce pollution … The situation is so serious that mankind will get into trouble if it is not taken seriously. “If we protect nature, there is no doubt that nature protects us.”

The life of man is intertwined with Bamboo, regrettably bamboo is declining slowly.

We have grown up by seeing the tallest bamboo plants by birth. Bamboo belongs to the subfamily of grass, the most versatile plant on planet earth. Human life is somehow dependent on bamboo and its useful things from our birth to death. This plant is antifungal, antibacterial, and grows 2 ft in one day. Do you know Bamboo absorbs carbon dioxide and emits a high level of oxygen? Bamboo is the most useful plant in our life. There are over 1.500 species of Bamboos in the world. It grows all over the world, except for Europe and Antarctica. We are directly or indirectly dependent on plants for several of our needs. Bamboo is still playing role in the socio-economy of the people especially in rural areas and an integral part of our culture and human life. It’s a gift of nature associated with prosperity, peace, good fortune, and success.

What are the purposes for we are dependent on Bamboos all over the world.?

1.FOOD.

All across the world bamboo plants are used for food. Particularly the animals like Pandas main food is bamboo. Not only animals but also human beings also use shoots of bamboo. Its roots are so tasty, crunchy, and very healthy. It contains vitamins and fiber. Bamboo food is consumed in so many countries. The village people are used to take bamboo for cooking. It is also used for cattle feed in China.

2.CONSTRUCTION.

From village to cities bamboo is used as building materials. It is used to build bridges, houses, scaffolding, floors, roofs. Its structure looks beautiful. Village people still use bamboo to support a building for home, rope made of bamboos, because its flexibility is very good to be used as an anti-earthquake building material. For putting the fencing around their houses strong and thorny bamboos are preferred by village people still. We can see houses, animal huts are made up of bamboos.

3.TEXTILES.

Bamboo is used for textile. It is a popular material in boutique shops. Bamboo fabric is breathable thermal regulating better than polyester performance. It is estimated globally over 2.5 million people depending on it for survival and livelihoods.

4. CULTURAL ARTS.

Almost every countries art and its traditions involved in Bamboo. Musical instruments like flutes, rattles, drums are made up of bamboos. what a helpful and beautiful gift given by nature to us. . Moreover in marital arts practices weapon is made from bamboo. Incredibly the bows, staves, arrows, and swords are the product of bamboo. Indonesia people dances also used bamboo as a weapon, music, and symphony are an integral part of tribal people. They use flutes, pawa, pihooda, and other instruments made from bamboos.

5.BAMBOO IS GREAT FOR ENVIRONMENT.

Bamboo observes carbon dioxide and releases30% oxygen and producing clean, fresh oxygen. It is naturally anti-bacterial, prevents over 70% of bacteria that attempt to grow on it. Importantly it absorbs greenhouse gases. Protect soil and prevents erosion and help retain nutrients for the next crop. In one word Bamboo saves the earth’s planet.

BAMBOO IN RURAL INDIAN VILLAGES.

Bamboo is so common in a former life in rural India. The home was formerly building a fence for a barn. Bamboo can also be found on the pillars of the bamboo pole and tied into long bamboo poles. Drinking medicine for cattle from bamboo race Buttermilk is covered in a bamboo leash about three and a half inches in diameter. Previously used as a roof for the house, thick bamboo and bamboo forks were used to the side. Hanging swords of agricultural work in a bamboo stand pattern. The funeral of the deceased was being made in the flat bamboo. The nut and coconut harvesters were used bamboo. The ladder used to climb the tree is bamboo. The bamboo rafters used to cross the small pond. Homemade baskets are bamboo. Bamboo was used for food, and bamboo furniture. Bamboo is only described as essential for the use of a home. There are many uses. But as the years passed we have been forgotten bamboos.

BAMBOO UNDER EXTINCTION THREAT.

As human life is dependent upon bamboo from birth to death, therefore the rapid growth in demand for bamboo and its resources over the last two decades has caused the extinction of bamboo forest. This has caused an imbalance in the biodiversity of the ecosystem. ” World’s 1200 bamboo species are in danger of extinction,” UN report revealed. With this, the dependant animals like pandas, lemurs, and gorillas go hungry. Bamboo is an ancient form of grass, grows at a great speed, its major food for few animals as well as humans. How people’s life is depended upon bamboo!. Do you know? in Colombia bamboo is used for building material instead of concrete in the earthquake zone. UN environment program said bamboos are some of the oldest and most fascinating life forms on earth with economic and conservation value. Bamboo species are at risk of extinction because of forest destruction according to the ‘ world conservation monitoring center in Cambridge.’

There are so many Kannada folk songs that praise the importance of Bamboo in human life.

LAST WORDS.

There is a need of considering the importance of bamboo as a habitat for many wildlife species. Bamboo roots help to control soil erosion in the forest. Due to environmental hazards, bamboo development has been reduced. Government and people should aware and encourage to promote bamboo growing will reduce the deforestation rate and will protect the biodiversity and environment as a bamboo plant used as a substitute material for construction and other purposes. Need to preserve and cultivate bamboo, which plays an important role in environmental biodiversity. We use nature’s free gift for our purposes parallelly we need to an oath to nurture of these wonderful assets of Nature.

“Biodiversity in anxiety.”!

The living planet index report,” Due to environmental destruction animals, birds, reptiles, fishes and others have declined by 2/3 of the last half-century. ” Changes in land use and animal trading have been reported to have reduced the percentage of vertebrate species by 68% during the period of 1970 to 2016. The WWF director feels that this is having an adverse effect not on the number of wildlife but also on all aspects of human health and life as well. He warned that if the offspring were reduced from fishes in rivers to bees, it would have a direct impact on nutrition food security, and human life. Biodiversity and wildlife need to be conserved in this situation today. It is reported that fish and other organisms in freshwater habitats have declined by 84% vertebrate animals declined by 68%.

REASONS.

One of the reports said, Habitat destruction with a significant decline in animal wealth on the planet, is destroying forest habitats. Biodiversity will remain if a man does not intervene in the natural habitats of species. . We need to change the way we produce and consume food. The threat to biodiversity continues if humans engaged in their daily consumption and needs, the report said.

CAUSES OF DESTRUCTION OF BIODIVERSITY.

1.POLLUTION

Humans’ activities affect negatively the environment direct or indirect. In metropolitan cities garbage dumped into the water supply, chemicals are being discharged to the rivers in a large way. Air pollution from cars, factories have also negatively affected the environment. So many varieties of fertilizers and pesticides are discharged into groundwater. The chemicals like nitrogen and phosphorous is a threat to both land and aquatic ecosystem. The more uses of fertilizers cause environmental damages.

2.CLIMATE CHANGE.

Heating the earth’s surface affects biodiversity because it causes to the endangered all species that adapted to the cold due to latitude or the altitude. Aquatic nutrient load from fertilizers and agricultural bioproducts. Almost oceans are filled by acidity levels. Changes in climate happen over millions of years, this has taken place because of human intervention. The result is the species couldn’t adjust to sudden climatic change. CLIMATOLOGIST believes that the greenhouse effect is raising world temperature by about 2 degrees by 2030.

3.DEFORESTATION.

https://lifelance.in/nature-naturenaturecant-live-without-trees-dont-reject-them-away/

When we cut down a forest for agricultural and other purposes, we indirectly destroying the ecosystem. It is a big threat to animals and birds. Deforestation increases the possibilities of species extinction. It is important to know the fact that each species plays a vital role in the food chain. The decline in species of animals and birds have an effect on both animals and humans.

4.ILLIGAL WILDLIFE TRADE.

In different countries, animals are taken for trade, and some animals are imported for medicinal purposes. Wildlife trade is a growing threat to biodiversity. Almost pangolins are declining in Asia as a result of illegal trade for meat. Each species trade is negative consequences for biological diversity and the ecosystem.

5.SPECIES EXTINCTION.

The geological record indicates that many hundreds of plants and animal species have disappeared over the eras as they have failed to adapt to changing conditions. It is reported that the presantly rate of species extinction is at least a hundred to a thousand times higher than a natural rate. Even deforestation has a negative impact on the ecosystem as well as species extinction.

WHY BIODIVERSITY IS MORE IMPORTANT.?

https://lifelance.in/covid-19-another-lesson-of-nature-life/

Biodiversity protecting each of the species. About 75% of our food supply comes from plant species. Biodiversity is linked to human health in several ways. 70 % of plants with cancer-fighting properties available in the rain forest. When species become lost genetic diversity is also lost. plants absorb a variety of pollutants from the air, forests help soil absorb water which can reduce floods, erosion. Biodiversity provides us different raw materials, wood, fuels, plant oils, and medicines. It helps to increase photosynthesis. More importantly, it protects our livelihoods.

LAST WORDS.

We are blessed with clear air, fresh water, good quality soil by biodiversity. It helps to fight climate change and adapt to it as well as reduces other natural calamities. Nowadays we are facing many problems due to changing global warming and climate. This has resulted in biodiversity being destroyed. As a result that many epidemics are born. Every citizen, importantly the Government is responsible for the preservation of biodiversity and the ecosystem for our future generation.

“Can’t live without trees, don’t reject them away.”

Our dependence on nature is many centuries old and there is a deep connection between us and the tree. Ours is a physical, intellectual, and emotional dependency with trees. Our culture is to seek and worship God in the trees. Nature has inspired them, from sages to modern poets. Trees absorb carbon dioxide into the atmosphere and release oxygen, contaminate gases like ammonia, sulfur-di-oxide. Moreover, the city and the villages or the atmosphere is always cool.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS OF TREES FOR US?

1.Trees provide Food.

Tree’s food like apples, oranges, banana, jack fruits is eaten worldwide. These are all a good source of vitamins and nutrition. Many trees provide nuts and seeds that also provide nutritions and all minerals. Lots of vegetables came from trees in our backyards. All children like chocolates, cocoa is used for it, it all comes from trees.

2.TREES PROTECT THE EARTH PLANET.

The earth planet is a good space for man, animals, birds, and all living creatures to live. Trees protect the earth from erosion, fire, and wind. Trees could help to slow down global warming. Trees absorb gas carbon-di-oxide from the atmosphere and always keep our planet earth cool. It helps to evaporate water into the atmosphere and increases the clouds. Trees play a great role in maintaining a healthy environment.

3.PRODUCTION OF OXYGEN.

It could be very difficult to live without trees. It gives us oxygen-free. we don’t have to pay for it. Trees play a significant role in improving air quality in the atmosphere. Oxygen is produced and released by trees. One large tree can provide a day’s supply of oxygen for up to four people. According to the”Arbor Foundation research”, a big and old tree will absorb 48 pounds of carbon-di-oxide from the atmosphere and release oxygen in exchange.

4.TREES PROVIDE SHELTER AND SHADE.

We can’t stand much in the summer sun. We need a tree shade. It acts as a natural air conditioning. This reduces the temperature, the effect on the temperature. Plants and shrubs and trees provide not only man but also birds, animals, and other species. The forest is also home to animals and birds. There are many creatures that inhabit the tree-top.

5.THE DIVERSITY OF LIFE.

Many beautiful, eye-catching birdhouses are in the trees. Trees are the home of many species and insects, squirrels, rabbits. Trees provide an ecosystem for animals, birds, and insects. Each tree is a lifesaver for some species in this ecosystem.

6.TREES ELIMINATE NATURAL PROBLEMS.

If we plant and protect trees, we can reduce the problem of drought and floods. Trees reduced the damage caused by floods and trees. It also absorbs sound and reduces air pollution. Trees can reduce noise pollution up to 10 decibels. Nowadays it’s very common that we are facing natural problems like floods, hurricanes, heatwaves, etc. But we should realize the fact that trees improve all these natural problems.

7.TREES MAKES OUR HEALTH AND LIVES BEAUTIFUL.

Trees make you feel good. Watching trees, animals, and birds calm the mind. In our busy life sometime between nature, our anxiety and depression are reduced. If we destroy the environment or trees we will face the stressful condition. Spend little time in beautiful nature, it reduces stress and blood sugar.

The famous Kannada literature, Sri Poornachandra Tejaswi, says, “We are a part of nature, and nature is not our part.”

LAST WORDS.

The forest around the world is being destroyed by an increasing population. After globalization in 1990, trees have been cut down to widen the roads across India, to build industries, and make many developmental works. If the trees are cut down in this range, the unstable environment will flourish. ” Development is not by cutting down trees.” In Karnataka according to the 2018 report in a newspaper 7.35 lack trees were reportedly cut down for highway projects. Just imagine the condition of a whole country!. The time has come to save the trees. Governments need to take more steps to protect the environment.

Beautiful sparrows – Early mates of human beings, now your chirping is not listening!

Sparrows were always our favorite. Our childhood memories are with sparrows. Their beauty touches our heart, they always attract our mind and soul so easily. Ours is an innate relationship with sparrows. Their relationship with our childhood innocence was as sweet as Jaggery. From sparrow, chirping is what we get up on the couch in the morning. This little bird to behold is fascinating to the eyes to see. Watching the sparrows at home was a great experience. The water bath of sparrows was thrilling. The desire to be touched but not touched. It was a wonder to see their nests on the roof of the house. These sparrows were our friends. Our childhood memories with sparrows are unforgettable. where’re the sparrows now?

OUR RELATIONSHIP WITH THE SPARROWS.

Sparrows are the oldest companion of human beings. Sparrows have been a companion of man for ten thousand years. Sparrows have grown up in addition to human civilization. People were co-existing with animals and birds. Birds are important members of the Ecosystem. The role of sparrows in environmental balance is significant. They eat harmful insects that come to farm crops. Sparrows usually eat grains, seeds, and small insects. They prefer eating on grounds, near trees, shrubs. Each animal and bird has its own significance on this planet Earth.

SPARROWS IN LITERATURE, CULTURE, AND MYTHOLOGY.

The history of many countries of the world ranging from Greek and Roman poets to Shakespeare’s works is said to be about the sparrow. There are sparrows in Indian folklore. Hindi poet Premchand wrote stories to children about sparrows. In Greek mythology, the sparrow is viewed as a Sacred bird. According to ancient Egyptians, the sparrow would catch the soul of the recently deceased and carry them to heaven. In Chinese culture, the sparrow is an auspicious symbol of happiness. While in Indonesian lore sparrow signifies birth, marriage, rain.

WHY SPARROWS ARE DIMINISHING?

1. Modern homes and buildings.

The changing lifestyle in cities has led to the death of sparrows. Previously they lived a comfortable life on the roof of our house. Now the concrete buildings are not good to them. They need a roof of the homes, but no roof, no space to build nests, no small trees, no shrubs. With a change in architecture, sparrows lost their habitats.

2.Lack of grains.

Today we buy in the Malls of packed grains and food. There is no such thing as buying sacks in plains. Sparrows prefer eating on grounds, near trees and shrubs. Unfortunately, all these open ground shrubs and small trees are replaced by big buildings, bazaars.

3.Mobile Radiations.

Scientists say that the electromagnetic radiations emitted by mobile towers eliminates these. Which affects the nervous system and immune system of sparrows. Studies indicate that exposer to radiations from cell phone towers reduces the reproductive capacity of birds.

4. Overuse of pesticides.

Food for their babies is poisonous because of excessive spraying of pesticides on farm crops in the villages. Farmers are using chemical fertilizers for their agricultural produce, this causes for ruining the food of sparrows.

LAST WORDS

Sparrows have been found in human habitations ever since. It is tedious to say that the sparrows are absent from vehicles and pollutants in the cities because they are small and sensitive. Do not know how many other birds and animals move to the brink of extinction if the situation continues. Our life without birds is never beautiful, our lives are barren. It’s impossible to imagine what life without birds would be like!. Can you imagine a world without beautiful birds?
